Mamuju (ANTARA News) - Kabupaten Mamuju Utara (Matra) yang merupakan Kabupaten terbungsu dari empat Kabupaten lainnya yang ada di wilayah Provinsi Sulawesi Barat (Sulbar) dikatakan sebagai wilayah Kabupaten yang tidak punya kelebihan.
Sindiran tersebut dilontarkan anggota Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia (DPD-RI) KH, Sibli Sahabuddin, di Mamuju, Jumat.
Sibli yang juga merupakan Rektor Universitas Asyariah Mandar (Unasman) tersebut menilai, sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki Kabupaten Matra yang terbentuk pada tahun 2003 sangat tidak memiliki kompetensi dalam mengelola pemerintahan
Menurut Ketua PWNU Provinsi Sulbar ini, lemahnya SDM pejabat di wilayah Kabupaten Matra yang memiliki luas sekitar 11.057,81 km2 dengan jumlah penduduk sekitar 91.535 jiwa tersebut, membuat wilayah itu masih itu tertinggal dari segi pembangunan karena tidak memiliki sejumlah bangunan infrastruktur yang menjadi fasilitas umum untuk pelayanan publik yang permanen dan berkualitas.
"Di Matra tidak memiliki rumah sakit yang kualitasnya seperti rumah sakit umumnya yang ada di tingkat kabupaten, tetapi hanya memiliki puskesmas, kemudian juga tidak memiliki terminal sabagai tempat transit angkutan umum, serta tidak memiliki pasar modern sebagai sumbu ekonomi masyarakat, tetapi hanya memiliki pasar tradisional," katanya.
Sehingga kata dia, karena lemahnya infrastruktur di wilayah itu membuat kontribusi pendapatan daerah di wilayah itu masih sangat rendah sekitar Rp6 miliar pertahun.
"Itulah alasannya ketika saya ditanya masyarakat Matra yang mempertanyakan apa kelebihan Kabupaten itu, yang kemudian saya menjawabnya bahwa kelebihan Matra diantara Kabupaten lain di Sulbar, adalah Kabupaten Matra tidak punya kelebihan," katanya.
Oleh karena itu kata dia, Pemerintah di Kabupaten Matra harus kembali melakukan evaluasi terhadap pemerintahannya yang kualitas pejabatnya banyak yang tidak profesional sehingga membuat pembangunan yang ada di wilayah itu juga terpengaruh sehingga tidak nampak ada kemajuan di wilayah yang terkenal penghasil sawit dengan luas sekitar 29.982 Hektare tersebut.
"Sebelum kita membangun daerah itu, menjadi daerah yang maju dan setara dengan daerah lainnya di Sulbar, maka syaratnya daerah itu harus meningkatkan profesionalisme dan kualitas SDM pejabat pemerintahannya,karena potensi sumber daya alam daerah itu cukup mendukung untuk dikelola menambah pendapatan daerah karena daerah Matra memiliki keunggulan karena memiliki areal sawit yang sangat luas," katanya. Bukan hanya di lingkungan akademisi kita di tuntut untuk mengembangkan sofkill kita, sebelum nantinya kita siap untuk memasuki dunia nyata (real word) tapi pengasahahan sofkill juga di dalam agama kita di suruh untuk mengasahnya keterampilan menjadi seorang yang profesional dan ahli di bidang yang digeluti.
Hadist di atas menegaskan kita untuk membangun sebuah kemapuan baik itu Hardskill maupun Sofkill. Sukses meraih cita-cita dan karir di masa depan tidak hanya ditentukan oleh hardskill, seperti tingginya nilai indeks prestasi (IP), penguasaan teori serta terampil dalam mengoperasikan peralatan laboratorium dan perangkat berteknologi tinggi.
