Introduction:
This is a snapshot of Al ‘Bayan today. It summaries Al ‘Bayan ‘s strategy, gives a short description of some key projects and outlines the company’s view on a number of major policy issues. There are some useful facts about the company.

Al ‘Bayan’s Strategy: the transformation story
The recent history of Al ‘Bayan is a story of business transformation. It is the story of a company that has grown and prospered through being competitive, customer focused and innovative, that has learned to compete and win against some of the world’s biggest companies to become a truly global operation.

We have one of the larges Marketing networks in the world of Leasure Managements and we are adding one new city to that network every 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

View years ago Al ‘Bayan decided to stake it future on meeting the demand for traveling business infrastructure and solutions among global organizations and the rapid expansion business network in the South East Asia. Our strategy is to grow this “new wave” business whilst continuing to fight for our more traditional business in Asia.

From a standing start our “new wave” and now make up over 39% of our revenue. Our new wave services are designed to help our costumers make the most of the convergence that is bringing together networks and services, mobile and fixed products, Reservation and Transaction.

We are helping businesses Traveling reach new market and costumers, and helping them improve their productivity and operational effifieny.

• In 2006, Al ‘Bayan workforce in Asia Pac rose by 30% and in the Middle east by 54%

Al ‘Bayan is a vocal Champion of open standards and competition. To meet costumers needs it is critical that barriers Traveling to entry are eliminated and all operators Land Arrangement are treated equally. The Protection of incumbent operators and national champions inevitably hurts consumers and the wider economy as choice is restricted, and innovation and investment are curtailed.

Our Business practice and code of ethics

Our statement of Business Parctice, The Way We Work, defines Al ‘Bayan’s Busienss Principles that apply worldwide, to all employees, agents, contractors, and others when representing Al ‘Bayan.
A code of ethics provides principles to which these officers are expected to comply and which they are expected to champion throughout Al ‘Bayan. This Code of ethics complements our statement of Business Practices, The Way We Work.

Any change to this code of ethics and any explicit waiver granted by the Audit Committee or implicit waiver from it for these officers will be disclosed on our website within five business days after the date of the change or waiver and for at least 12-months afterwards. In the case of waiver, its nature, the name of the person to whom it was granted and the date of waiver will be described. Information on any change or waiver will be retained for a period of 5 years.











The Chief Executive Officer, Group Finance Director, the Director Group Financial Control & Treasury, direct reports to the Group Finance Directors will:
• Act with honesty and integrity, including ethically actual or apparent conflicts of interest between their personal relationships or financial or commercial interest and their responsibilities to Al ‘Bayan;
• Promote full, fair, accurate, timely and understandable disclosure in all reports and documents that Al ‘Bayan files with, or submits to, the Asia & Middle Eastern Markets Leasure and Exchange Commission or otherwise makes costumers;
• Comply with all laws, rules and regulation applicable to Al ‘Bayan and to its relationship with ite shareholders;
• Report known or suspected violations of this code of ethics promptly to the chairman of the Audit Committee; and
• Ensure that their actions comply not only with the letter but the spirit of this code of ethics and foster a culture in which Al ‘Bayan operates in compliance with the law and Al ‘Bayan’s Policies.

Al ‘Bayan will take appropriate disciplinary action againts any such officer who acts in contravention of these principles.
